How to Use This Calculator

Enter the number of birds in your flock. This is the multiplier applied to the per-bird feed rate to get your total daily amount, so it's the single biggest driver of the result.

Choose the bird type or age group

Select Chick (0-8 weeks), Pullet (8-18 weeks), Layer hen, or Broiler. Younger and lighter birds eat noticeably less per day than mature layers or fast-growing broilers, so this selection shifts the per-bird rate used in the calculation.
